ACT/SAT TEST PREP

ANXIOUS ABOUT TAKING TESTS?

You're Not Alone!

Virtually every high school student worries about college admissions tests, and for good reason. The ACT and SAT are both over three hours long and proport to cover EVERYTHING from high school. Is it any wonder that students might find that situation STRESSFUL?

In tutoring sessions with me, we focus on what students really need to know, and we practice with actual test materials to increase familiarity and decrease stress.

If you're a good student with a disappointing ACT/SAT test score, the chances are excellent that you can raise your score significantly. Practice leads to improvement. The ACT/SAT does not ask questions in the same way as a typical test in school, so spending time preparing for your chosen test can yield impressive gains in your scores.

It's not uncommon for a B+/A student taking the ACT to score in the low or mid-twenties or even in the teens. Although the ACT will tell you a 21 or 22 is an average score, IT IS NOT A GOOD SCORE!

I can help most B+/A students to score in the 30s on the ACT. Similar improvement can be achieved on the SAT. I know the ACT and SAT tests. They are different from each other, and each has specific characteristics, so the best tutoring will focus on the test you plan to take.
